The Role You’ll Play
Full‑time Licensed 2‑20 Commercial Account Manager (Property and Casualty). Responsible for day‑to‑day management of mid‑sized to large client accounts, including retention, risk analysis, underwriting liaison, proposal preparation, client service, and support for new business production.
Responsibilities
Build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing and new clients to meet retention goals.
Analyze coverages, exposures, and loss experience to determine risk requirements.
Place coverage, re‑market when needed, and adhere to binding authority set by carriers.
Negotiate with underwriters and carriers.
Prepare and issue summaries, proposals, and binders of insurance.
Answer customer questions quickly and solve problems.
Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
Provide marketing support for new business production and renewals.
Handle day‑to‑day client inquiries and policy servicing.
Serve as primary contact for the Service team, overseeing inquiries and work allocation.
Assist Agency Manager with interviewing, selecting, and training employees.
Provide insurance consultation and expert advice to the Agency Manager.
Attend client meetings as required.
Stay current with insurance markets and changing coverage trends.
Qualifications
Florida 2‑20 General Lines License in good standing.
At least three years of commercial insurance industry experience.
Insurance designations such as AAI, CIC, CPCU, or other certifications are highly valued.
Knowledge of AMS360 preferred.
