Location: Orlando, FL or surrounding area.
Role: Associate Sales Account Manager in the Foodservice Sales team. Reports directly to a Director of Sales or Foodservice Sales Executive.
Summary
As a contributing member of the Foodservice Sales team, the Associate Sales Account Manager will cultivate relationships, grow business with distributor and operator accounts, provide solutions to customers, sell incremental items, negotiate pricing and programs, and prioritize efforts against market plans. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with various business units and trade teams to grow new business, protect core accounts, and create a competitive advantage while achieving mix and volume targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and cultivate professional relationships with incremental and assigned accounts within the market/geography to achieve business objectives.
Gather, create, and maintain key insights for all assigned accounts, including key contacts, correspondence, business size, product/category risks & opportunities, competitive set, calendar/timing and potential hurdles. Maintain and track progress using the CRM tool.
Execute and manage all strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with Sales Development Business Units and Trade teams to deliver and exceed sales plans by managing marketing programs, expense management and deduction resolution.
Provide customer sales support for market events, meetings, presentations, product samplings and local trade shows.
Deliver against assigned volume goals and execute price actions within the marketplace; manage spend and the mix of products sold.
Manage T&E budget.
Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 2–5 years of outside sales experience in Food Service, Manufacturing, or Distributor Sales.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Special Skills:
Strategic thinking, planning, negotiation, motivational leadership, conflict resolution and event planning execution.
Computer Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Travel:
20–30%.

Pay Range:
$84,000–$142,000.
