Overview
A Commercial Account Executive is needed to build and manage a territory of digital native commercial accounts at ThoughtSpot. The role focuses on acquiring new ThoughtSpot customers.
Location & Work Mode
Position is hybrid, reporting to the Chicago office, with 2-3 days per week onsite and remote work otherwise. Candidates may be located in New York or Chicago.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage a territory of digital native commercial accounts.
Generate pipeline through prospecting, establishing trust and credibility with end‑users, influencers, and decision makers at all levels of assigned accounts.
Conduct product demonstrations in person and via web‑based technologies.
Manage complex sales cycles with large companies.
Qualifications
2+ years quota‑carrying experience in a technology sales environment, with prior inside sales experience a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal and external business partners to sell technology solutions priced at $50,000+.
Leadership presence and ability to influence others.
Track sales metrics and performance to aid personal improvement.
Interest in continuous learning and career growth.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
AI literacy and workflow integration: ability to comfortably integrate AI into daily workflow, leverage industry‑leading LLMs for productivity, craft effective prompts, and exercise judgment in AI use versus human judgment.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual base salary range: $115,000–$165,000.
