Job Summary
Cardinal Ritter Senior Services, a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator who will primarily assist the enterprise marketing staff in all aspects of marketing, branding, and communications. This role also supports volunteer coordination efforts and contributes to special projects within the philanthropy department, helping to advance the organization’s mission and community impact.

Overview and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain marketing supplies for the sales team

Schedule and create social media publications for social enterprise activities

Create flyers and graphics for print and digital media for social enterprise activities

Create, edit, and maintain advertisements, both print and digital for social enterprise activities

Research and develop blogs for website; edit public relations releases in conjunction with Catholic Charities Marketing and Communications Team

Process invoices for payment and maintain payables records

Update and create websites and webpages in conjunction with web host and creators

Assist CRSS communities with external communications in conjunction with Catholic Charities Marketing and Communications Team

Work with Archdiocese accounting team to reconcile donor donations

Maintain receipts and expenses for CBO

Be responsible for volunteer program agency wide including recruitment, orientation, assignment, record-keeping, supervision, recognition events and volunteer portion of the agency newsletter

Work with outside groups for one-time volunteer projects

Ensure compliance with volunteer standards set by CRSS, United Way and COA

Manage, implement and coordinate parish engagement opportunities in partnership with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis

Coordinate speaker series for parishes under the direction of Catholic Charities of St. Louis

Host on-campus volunteer events to engage parishioners in the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis mission

Frequently handle sensitive and confidential matters

Handle special projects and conduct research as needed

Process incoming donor contributions in a timely and accurate manner

Generate acknowledgements and handle other communications with donors

Manage the Raiser's Edge Database system to track donor donations effectively and efficiently, including but not limited to running queries, reports, exports and mail merges

Keep accurate filing system for all correspondence

Support grant writer in obtaining necessary files for grant applications

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge And Experience Requirements

Demonstrated ability to use a personal computer using software including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, lnDesign, and Adobe Illustrator. Able to learn new programs quickly through self-directed study

Demonstrated practical knowledge of Raiser's Edge software and the ability to utilize the software effectively and efficiently

Skills And Competencies Required

Ability to communicate effectively, including excellent grammar, writing and proofreading skills

Knowledge of development, marketing and administrative practices and

Exemplary ability to handle confidential matters

Ability to problem solve and make decisions

Ability to flex between multiple projects and competing priorities

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects for timeliness

Ability to interpret written and oral instructions

Resources for Which Accountable
Will be accountable for the accuracy of information entered into and management of the Raiser's Edge Database system including working with Finance Office to ensure accuracy of recording. Will be responsible for accuracy of volunteer files
