Work that cuts through the noise? Hear us out.
Own acoustic measurement excellence and help drive data‑driven product development.
You'll ensure reliable and standardized acoustic measurements across our product portfolio while supporting product teams with structured testing and analysis. All yours. If you've mastered the fundamentals of acoustic measurement and you're ready to push past the processes that slow real progress, this is where you do it.
The role
You step into ownership. You move fast and take responsibility for what you build. You focus on work that matters, not on noise that slows things down.
As a Junior Acoustic Engineer, you help ensure that acoustic measurements across Loop's products are reliable, repeatable, and traceable. You support product development teams through structured testing, lab operations, and data analysis that enable confident design decisions and product validation.
What you’ll do (and what you don’t)
Own the setup and execution of standardized acoustic measurements across development and validation activities.
Maintain and operate acoustic lab infrastructure, including measurement fixtures, artificial ears, head and torso simulators, microphones, amplifiers, and measurement interfaces.
Execute measurements such as insertion loss, REAT, MIRE, frequency response, THD, Rub & Buzz, and POLQA using systems like SoundCheck.
Develop and maintain automated measurement sequences and advanced test setups to improve repeatability and efficiency.
Support cross‑functional teams by analysing acoustic data and contributing to root cause investigations during product development.
Don’t wait for endless approvals.
Don’t cruise quietly in the background.
What you’ll bring
1–5 years of experience in acoustic or electroacoustic measurement and testing.
Practical knowledge of acoustic measurement principles such as frequency response, distortion, insertion loss, Rub & Buzz, REAT, MIRE, and POLQA.
Experience with measurement systems such as SoundCheck, Klippel, CLIO, REW, ARTA, or similar tools.
Proficiency in Python, or equivalent tools for data analysis and visualization.
Ability to work independently and know when to involve others.
Comfortable with change and ambiguity.
Clear sense of when work is ready to ship and when it can evolve.
Desire for your work to matter, not just exist.
We might not be a match if you:
Wait for direction instead of taking initiative.
Prioritize activity over impact.
Feel uneasy when things are still taking shape.
Benefits
32 vacation days.
Opportunities for travel and personal growth.
Loop is an equal opportunities employer.
We invest in diversity, ensure equality, and encourage expression. We have a zero‑tolerance policy for harassment, bias or discrimination towards applicants and employees.
