Job Summary
Pipeline inspection camera manufacturer with a North American distribution channel seeks an Eastern Regional Sales Manager to work with regional independent sales partners and regional sales managers to increase sales and market share through management, training, motivation, and expertise. The candidate will demonstrate and train equipment in field applications, support field troubleshooting, service, and repair of systems and components, and collaborate with sales managers to keep the sales channel operating at optimal levels.
Key Skill Set Requirements
Sales
Assist with key account and high‑value sales opportunities.
Develop and execute plans with regional sales to achieve annual unit and revenue sales goals.
Assist regional sales in recognizing and projecting future business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Work productively with partner sales reps, management, and owners.
Establish and maintain solid relationships with sales partners and customers.
Plan, organize, and execute specific sales and product initiatives.
Product Management
Complete technical understanding of the video inspection product line.
Communicate key selling features to the sales team and customers.
Operate equipment in the field for varied applications.
Learn and apply practical field knowledge to the field sales team and product development.
Test and provide feedback on products or features under development.
Act as a knowledgeable resource in the marketplace.
Assist the product group with training and development of the sales partner network on all current and new products.
Give presentations in various size groups and settings.
Area of Responsibility
Eastern United States of America, Eastern Canada, and other areas and regions as required by management from time to time.
Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is
$61,200.00 - $91,800.00 , depending on experience. The position may also be eligible for a performance‑based bonus plan.
