Position Overview

This role is an Analyst/Associate level opportunity in the Global Client Group at Brookfield Asset Management, supporting two or more client relationship managers (CRMs) covering institutional investors in the United States. The Analyst/Associate will work across all private market asset classes that Brookfield specializes in (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Renewables, Private Equity) and cover all parts of the fundraising process, including marketing activities, direct client communications, research, and client/prospect due diligence.
Responsibilities

Support all aspects of fund marketing activities, client prospect due diligence and onboarding processes.
Report to the Managing Director of the West Coast Team.
Work with CRMs to originate new client investment activity.
Coordinate and attend update meetings with investment teams, preparing pre‑meeting reports and appropriate materials, and coordinating follow‑up.
Cover on‑site due diligence meetings with investment teams, preparing pre‑meeting reports and appropriate materials, and coordinating follow‑up.
Where appropriate, directly communicate with clients to support their due diligence requests.
Maintain Brookfield’s internal CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring that the system is up to date for internal reporting purposes.
Assist with ad‑hoc business development activities.
Compile detailed pre‑meeting reports for each client meeting involving Brookfield investment professionals.
Complete ad‑hoc profiles on prospects as needed.
Perform detailed research and analysis, leveraging market data and other sources, to create targeted prospective investor lists for new funds and strategies.
Monitor industry press for information relating to prospects and competitors.
In conjunction with Communications and Project Management teams, help coordinate road shows, conferences, and investor meetings.
Assist with conference/meeting planning: set up, prepare, and coordinate with different stakeholders within and beyond the organization.
Facilitate broad investor communication initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business management, marketing, communications, or another relevant discipline.
2–5 years of relevant working experience in the financial services industry, particularly in property, infrastructure, private equity, or alternative asset funds.
Strong investment and financial analytical capabilities and investment reporting experience.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and experience with Salesforce a plus.
Team player with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to work.
Ability to develop a strong internal/external network, build relationships, and collaborate with professionals across the organization.
Proactively seeks opportunities to take on more challenging projects.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation and delivery of presentations.

Compensation

Salary Range: $120,000 – $160,000 per year, consisting of a base salary and a short‑term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation varies by geography.
