Position: Sales Coordinator – Shamin Hotels, Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Full Time, hourly: $17.50 - $20.00.
Position Overview

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for administratively assisting the sales department in achieving revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The role coordinates sales efforts, upholds high quality standards, and ensures guest satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions

Answers incoming calls, qualifies and distributes customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Provides administrative support for the department, including data entry, completion of sales reports, and accurate and timely handling of signed contracts.
Handles all inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner to contribute to client satisfaction.
Assists in problem‑solving and ensures overall quality of group sales and catering efforts.
Responds to guests in a friendly and positive manner while providing the highest level of quality service.
Collaborates with other departments as necessary to meet guests’ needs.
Understands and follows hotel guest service recovery programs.
Coordinates with the sales team to ensure space and resources are utilized appropriately.
Uses all equipment and supplies properly and adheres to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste.
May be responsible for inventory and ordering of office supplies.
Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with company, brand, local, state, and federal regulations.
Follows all company procedures for guest/associate incidents.
Plays a role in producing the required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing duties.
Adheres to company attendance policy, grooming and appearance standards, and general work rules and department procedures.
Manages self‑workload effectively.
Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication skills.
Promotes collaboration and a positive, professional environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Customer service skills required.
Prioritization and time management skills required.
Strong attention to detail.
