Program Overview

As an NBCUniversal Academic Year intern, you’ll work on real projects, be part of our collaborative culture, and receive support to grow across two full semesters. The Internship Program provides paid time off, networking, learning opportunities, a complimentary Peacock subscription, free admission to Universal Parks, and mental health resources.

Time Commitment:

16–24 hours per week, schedule determined by business needs.
Location:

Work from Universal City, CA.

Responsibilities

Depending on placement, duties may include:

Digital Transformation Engineer

– develop products and proof of concepts for film marketing and production using AI/ML, AR/VR, and blockchain technologies, and build full‑stack solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications

Actively enrolled in a degree‑granting program at an accredited institution for the entire duration of the program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits); junior or above preferred.
Authorized to work in the United States without requiring future sponsorship.
Available to work 16–24 hours per week from September 21, 2026 to April 23, 2027.
Willingness to work in Universal City, CA.
Desired Characteristics

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Experience with JavaScript, Python, Node.js.
Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
Experience with GenAI platforms and ComfyUI.
Experience deploying front‑end and back‑end applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Compensation

Hourly rate: $30.00 per hour.
