Regional Sales Manager (RSM) — Neuroscience (Capital Region)

Responsibilities

Identify, recruit, coach, and retain top talent for the Teva Neuroscience sales team
Develop expertise and coach others on regional business focus areas (settings of care, payer and pull-through opportunities, flawless execution of marketing strategy)
Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed regional sales goals
Coach/train others on different settings of care to identify key business opportunities
Coordinate with sales leadership and other Teva teams (market access, sales operations, training) using a collaborative sales approach
Adhere to Teva compliance guidelines; operate with integrity so the sales team follows policies
Review weekly/monthly data reports to identify trends and address concerns
Coach teams on execution of the defined call plan for each territory representative
Coach teams toward success from hire date onward (counseling, encouragement, oversight to execute brand strategy)
Spend 90+ days in the field supporting local sales representatives
Live in the designated region
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required
5 years pharmaceutical sales experience, pharmaceutical management experience, or equivalent headquarters experience
Proven record of successfully achieving goals and coaching/developing effective teams
Skills/Knowledge

Interact with customers in live/virtual environments; proficient with technology
Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull-through strategies; experience in relevant settings of business (CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice)
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Travel Requirements

Extensive travel throughout the assigned region (may include air travel and weekend/overnight travel)
Benefits / Compensation

Annual starting salary: $151,120–$188,900
Eligible for the company’s sales incentive plan.
