Field Marketing Coordinator – New York
PureGym Group is a leading gym operator headquartered in the UK, boasting 700 locations and over 2 million members worldwide. We are expanding into the United States and are looking for a Field Marketing Coordinator to support our local marketing activity across our gym refurbishment and new-site programmes.

Location: New York

Type: Full Time

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: $65‑75k

Responsibilities

Activate in‑club communications, POS and relaunch plans for major gym investment programmes (refurbishments & new gyms)

Manage the process and brief activation plans for gyms requesting localised marketing activity

Collaborate with group Digital, CRM and content teams to deliver campaigns

Brief in‑house studio on all artwork, including proofing

Manage and brief agencies and third parties such as media, PR, photography, videography and print agencies

Prepare briefs for gym teams and wider business to show the marketing plans

Maintain and update club pages on the website

Adapt national campaigns and promotions for local deployment

Track budgets and manage invoices, ensuring local documents are maintained and costs controlled

Evaluate local marketing campaigns in collaboration with the wider team, including results where relevant

Serve as a key point of contact within Marketing to liaise with Operational and Development teams for timely information flow on investment programmes

Work closely with the Local Marketing team based in the UK to share best practice and represent the USA business

Assist in ensuring brand consistency and messaging across all local campaigns

Perform any other ad‑hoc duties as required

Requirements

Passionate about marketing and keen to learn in a fast‑paced environment

Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude to build strong working relationships across marketing, agencies and other business areas

Proven ability to manage numerous projects in a fast‑paced environment, working well under pressure and tight deadlines

Great time‑management and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail

Proactive and able to react quickly to changes that may be required

Willingness to ‘pitch‑in’ to help out the wider team as necessary

Flexibility and ability to travel to gyms across the USA when required

Experience in local marketing or marketing within retail, hospitality or fitness industry is preferable but not mandatory
