Responsibilities

Work on an exciting portfolio of projects ranging from emerging 3D and AR technology to iconography systems across our applications
Architect ambitious and often ambiguous design projects that set precedent for the industry
Collaborate with prototypers, product designers, engineers, and artists to solve complex problems, translate strategic goals into relevant solutions, and build world‑class experiences
Help lead visual strategy and define principles and systems that connect innovative product design with our engaging and playful brand
Design innovative interfaces and AR experiences that push boundaries
Evolve the look and feel of the Spectacles interface
Make 2D and 3D assets from various concepts into assets for operating system, interactive experience, and other aspects of the Spectacles interface
Seek out and utilize emerging technologies to scale the impact of the Spectacles design team
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong 2D & 3D skills
Ability to generate ideas and execute them with clear value to users and within engineering constraints
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Experience working on multiple types of visual mediums
Proactive, self‑motivated, and willing to explore new territory and challenges
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Minimum Qualifications

BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
3+ years of design experience
Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with 3D modeling software (Blender, Maya, etc.)
A strong portfolio showcasing design work
Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or other design tools
Experience in concept art (2D or 3D), storyboarding
Experience developing, documenting and implementing a visual language
Experience with Unity, Lens Studio or UE
Experience building design systems
Designing for AR/XR
