Digital Content Specialist (Contract)
Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid schedule Tues/Wed/Thurs onsite)

Duration: 4–5 Month Contract with Possible Extension

Position Overview
Our banking client is seeking an experienced Digital Content Specialist to support both internal and external communications initiatives. This individual will play a key role in creating, editing, and managing digital content across customer-facing and internal platforms.

The ideal candidate is a polished content professional who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, regulated environment. This person should have strong writing and editing skills, CMS experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up time.

Experience leveraging AI-powered content generation and optimization tools is highly desirable, particularly candidates who have worked with generative AI engines and AI-assisted digital content workflows.

A portfolio showcasing writing samples, digital content, press releases, and web content is required.

Key Responsibilities

Create, edit, and publish digital content for internal and external websites

Draft and distribute press releases, announcements, and communication materials

Support content cleanup, organization, and optimization initiatives across web platforms

Maintain and update website content using the organization’s CMS platform (currently Simpler CMS)

Leverage AI-assisted content generation and editing tools to improve efficiency and content quality where appropriate

Ensure content accuracy, consistency, branding, and compliance standards are met

Collaborate with communications, marketing, and business stakeholders to gather and develop content

Review existing content and recommend improvements for usability and readability

Assist with digital communications projects and content migration efforts as needed

Analyze content performance and reporting metrics when applicable

Support ad hoc communications and content-related initiatives

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in digital content creation, communications, web content management, or related field

Strong experience writing professional business content, including press releases and web copy

Hands‑on CMS experience required (Simpler CMS experience highly preferred)

Exceptional editing, proofreading, and organizational skills

Experience managing content for both internal and external audiences

Ability to work independently and quickly adapt within a professional corporate environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Portfolio required demonstrating relevant digital content and writing experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within banking, financial services, or other regulated industries

Experience using generative AI tools and AI‑driven content engines to support digital communications and content strategy

Exposure to data analytics and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI

Understanding of SEO and digital content best practices

Experience supporting website content cleanup or migration initiatives

Additional Information

This is an immediate need for a highly experienced professional who can contribute with minimal training

Contract expected to last approximately 4–5 months with potential for extension based on project needs and performance

Estimated Salary
Estimated Minimum Rate: $35.00

Estimated Maximum Rate: $55.00
