The Multimedia Designer III is responsible for the design and production of enterprise advertising media content while following established graphic standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities
Manages design/builds from concept to implementation efficiently.
Prioritizes, processes and implements projects based on job assignments, and assigned departmental requests.
Communicates design and media build with supervisors and media team.
Generates media content for print, billboard, collateral, web, out of home, digital signage, and television.
Follows established graphic standards and guidelines.
Collaborates on assigned projects with the media team and coordinates with assigned client departments to fulfill their media requests.
Designs and develops concepts and direction for projects.
Proposes, directs, and creates multimedia graphics and photography.
Operates a computer for a variety of graphic activities, including publishing and layout, production, illustration, and file preparation.
Receives specific copy and text content for layout from copywriter for design/ build.
Ensures work is consistent with organization branding and industry best practice.
Resolves problems beyond expectations without consulting a supervisor or escalates as needed.
Maintains the assigned ticket log and task system to ensure timely completion of projects, meeting all required due dates. Stores and labels all in progress and completed projects.
Maintains equipment supply inventory.
Participates in weekly staff meetings to communicate progress and problems.
Stays informed of trends and innovative techniques in order to be competitive in the multimedia design environment.
Maintains knowledge and promotes current promotions and events, advertising one or more features of the property.
Follows all department and casino standards and expectations to deliver exceptional guest service.
Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard‑free work environment is maintained.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university in Advertising, Journalism, Design Production, or related area preferred.
2 to 3 years related experience as a graphic designer at an ad agency or similar position.
1 to 2 years of experience in four‑color advertising design and layout, newsletter, advertising, and marketing collateral material production.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Fluent knowledge of Macintosh and PC operating systems.
Fluent knowledge of design and layout software such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier or Apple Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, Blackmagic DaVinci, Apple Compressor, and Adobe Media.
Skilled in the proper use of large format printing devices from set‑up to completion of job output.
Skilled in the transcoding of media for various motion formats.
Knowledge in project traffic coordination (outdoor, print, web, and TV).
Knowledge of outdoor and print layout specifications.
Knowledge of 3 screen design layout (TV, web, and digital signage).
Knowledge of image acquisition equipment such as Digital SLR and HDcam devices.
Detail‑oriented with superior time management skills.
Must be able to work effectively and produce material on time as specified in a fast paced, high‑output environment.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Does not provide supervisions to others.
