Responsibilities

Present local and national news stories on television and streaming for Univision Los Angeles news-related programs in a studio setting
Read scripts, interview guests, and deliver live updates with a professional demeanor
Write and anchor newscasts, gathering information, analyzing news stories, and crafting clear, concise scripts for broadcast
Develop and maintain good relationships with news sources and generate community-related stories
Participate in community events on behalf of the station
Interpret and translate news from English to accurate Spanish
Provide services to sister national networks as needed
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent)
At least 5 years of experience as a television journalist
Fluent in written and spoken Spanish
Experience presenting Spanish-language news in both studio and field environments
Experience generating and editing news scripts for broadcast
The annual salary for this role in CA is $181,251.00.
