Director of Leisure Sales - Arizona Biltmore
Responsible for the overall leisure strategy for the hotel, using analytics and data to anticipate market trends and identify new opportunities with leisure partners. Works closely with the Director of Sales and Director of Revenue Management to create a long‑term vision for leisure, expand existing relationships, solicit new customer accounts, maximize revenue, and negotiate guest room rates.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business plans for top leisure accounts, focusing on inbound business to the Phoenix/Scottdale market.
Provide monthly ROI reports on leisure marketing campaigns, partner promotions, and market capture versus the comp set.
Assess account qualifications—total revenue potential, booking patterns, decision‑making factors, and competitive landscape.
Partner with Director of Sales to develop, maintain, and implement marketing plans for key accounts.
Generate new wholesale, travel advisor, corporate, and retail accounts; conduct trainings, trade show participation, FAM trips, and retail agency visits.
Maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts through ongoing communication.
Coordinate with Revenue Management, Marketing, Group Sales, e‑commerce, and Operations on property strategies and tactics.
Identify and pursue group tour and entertainment opportunities.
Manage property‑specific promotions, annual Consortia/FIT/LNR/CNR RFPS, contracts, and communications with accounts.
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
At least five years of luxury hospitality sales experience, with at least two years in a leadership role.
Experience at a Forbes‑rated property preferred.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships in a leisure hospitality market.
