Remote/Hybrid PR Specialist — Proactive Communications

Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Public Relations Specialist skilled in proactive and reactive communications.

Schedule: In-Office T/W/Th; Remote M/F

Duration: through 11/3/2026

Pay Comments: W2, weekly pay, benefits, 401k w/ match

Background screening required

Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day coverage tracking across online and social (issues, general coverage, reviews, industry news, etc.)

Momentum pitching, ideation, and execution, including educating creators and press about new software features

Develop relationships with geo product PR partners for activities such as momentum reporting, event planning, etc.

Ad hoc requests/inquiries to internal partners such as Marcom, Product Marketing, and Developer Relations

Contribute cross‑functionally to hallmark events (e.g., launch moments)

Support the broader team with writing, such as competitive reporting

Ongoing list development and outreach, placement tracking, media list management

General inbound requests: basic Q&A, asset dissemination, compilation of information

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, Media Relations, or a related field

Experience supporting proactive and reactive communications strategies in a fast‑paced environment

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Mail, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Slack, Box, and Quip

Experience working cross‑functionally with marketing, product, or communications teams preferred
