Dr. Berg’s YouTube Channel

Dr. Eric Berg’s YouTube channel has over 13 million subscribers and videos with tens of millions of views — but we’re ready for the next evolution.
We’re hiring a world‑class YouTube Channel Manager with a proven, data‑backed track record of taking long‑form content to the next level.
This is not an entry‑level role. You’ll work directly with Dr. Berg, the editing team, and thumbnail designers to manage and grow the channel, lead the creative and optimization process, and drive massive growth in clicks, views, retention, and subscribers.
Responsibilities

Own the performance of Dr. Berg’s main YouTube channel: views, CTR, watch time, retention, and subscriber growth.
Watch and review all videos before publishing to ensure content structure, pacing, and messaging are optimized for viewer retention.
Work directly with Dr. Berg to align content strategy with his expertise and goals.
Collaborate closely with the editorial and design teams (editors, thumbnail designers, writers) to ensure content is visually, emotionally, and intellectually compelling.
Develop data‑backed thumbnail and title strategies that drastically improve CTR and first‑60‑seconds watch rates.
Run competitor and trend analysis to position Dr. Berg’s videos ahead of algorithm and audience trends.
Review YouTube Analytics, A/B tests, and retention graphs to make precise, actionable recommendations.
Make creative and data‑driven suggestions for improving script structure, video flow, and storytelling methods.
Ideal Candidate

Have grown a YouTube channel to 1M+ subscribers or helped consistently generate millions of views per month.
Can break down retention curves and CTR metrics and explain why a video failed or succeeded.
Understand YouTube’s algorithm and what makes people click and stay.
Have experience working with influencers, educators, or large public figures.
Have strong instincts for narrative structure, pacing, and hooks, especially for health/wellness or educational content.
Are highly organized, proactive, and comfortable giving constructive feedback to creatives and executives.
Know how to test, optimize, and repeat until the views go up — and stay up.
Job Requirements

Directly contributed to the growth of a YouTube channel with 1M+ subscribers.
Helped create or manage videos that have reached 1M+ views — multiple times.
Can show before‑and‑after performance metrics where your input led to significant growth.
3–5+ years experience as a YouTube Manager, Strategist, or Producer.
Strong familiarity with YouTube SEO, A/B testing, and retention analytics.
Proficient with tools like TubeBuddy, VidIQ, DaVinci Resolve/Premiere, Descript, and YouTube Studio.
Experience working with public‑facing personalities, influencers, or educators.
Comfortable in a fast‑moving, highly collaborative, remote work environment.
Experience launching or scaling health, educational, or high‑trust content is a strong plus.
Please do not apply unless you meet the majority of the job requirements.
Fully remote position within the United States.
Pay range: $80k–$150k base salary.
