Job Description

We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to develop detailed 3D models for mechanical and HVAC systems, including piping layouts. The role involves converting 2D drawings and conceptual designs into precise 3D models, modeling system components, and optimizing pipe routing and layout. Collaboration with engineering and applications teams is essential.

Responsibilities

* Develop detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical and HVAC systems, including piping layouts.
* Convert 2D drawings and conceptual designs into accurate 3D models.
* Model system components such as equipment, valves, fittings, and routing paths.
* Optimize pipe routing and layouts.
* Interpret P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and translate them into model designs.
* Work closely with engineering and applications teams to ensure model accuracy.

Essential Skills

* Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
* Experience with mechanical piping systems, preferably HVAC or industrial systems.
* Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical drawings.
* Strong understanding of 3D modeling, drafting, and engineering workflows.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

* U.S. citizenship is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Troy, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
