AV ALTA FC is a professional soccer club based in Lancaster, California, competing in USL League One, the third division of professional soccer in the United States. Founded in 2023, the club plays at the newly renovated Lancaster Municipal Stadium, only the fourth professional soccer-specific stadium in Southern California.
Representing a large and diverse community in North Los Angeles County, AV ALTA FC;s mission is to create opportunity for kids and civic pride for the community.
THE ROLE
The Digital Coordinator is a key driver of AV ALTA FC's growth, responsible for expanding the club's digital reach, engagement, and revenue through strategic content, paid media, and partnerships.
This role requires a creative, data-driven marketer who understands how to maximize reach, optimize performance, and convert attention into ticket sales and community impact.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Coordinator will work closely with Ticket Sales and Partnerships to maximize revenue and engagement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Digital Growth & Strategy
Own and execute strategies and tactics to maximize reach, audience growth, and engagement across all digital platforms
Continuously test, optimize, and scale digital campaigns to drive measurable growth within the AV ALTA FC community
Paid Media & Advertising
Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads and paid social platforms including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and Snapchat
Utilize platforms such as Linktree to support campaign funnels and traffic flow
Monitor performance daily and adjust targeting, creative, and spend to maximize ROI
Manage budgets responsibly and track spend efficiency across all campaigns
Content & Social Media
Manage daily posting, scheduling, and platform-specific content strategies
Write engaging, conversion-focused copy tailored to campaigns and audiences
Collaborate with internal media/design teams and external content creators for high-impact content
Identify and outreach to creators/influencers for collaborations that expand reach and brand awareness
Email Marketing & CRM
Manage and optimize email and text message campaigns through Mailchimp and HubSpot
Improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions through testing and segmentation
Ensure all email communications are aligned with campaigns, ticket sales, and partnerships
Analytics & Conversion Tracking
Track and analyze performance across social media, paid ads, email campaigns, and traffic funnels
Understand and report how digital efforts convert into ticket sales and revenue
Implement tracking systems (UTMs, pixels, etc.) to accurately measure campaign success
Provide regular reports with actionable insights to improve performance
Partnership & Execution Support
Work closely with the Partnerships team to ensure sponsor deliverables are executed on time across digital channels
Integrate partner assets seamlessly into content, campaigns, and email marketing
Workflow & Project Management
Utilize Monday.com to manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and cross-department collaboration
Maintain organization across multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders
Website & Digital Presence
Maintain and update the website at all times to reflect the most current and important information and initiatives with emphasis on ticket sales
Ensure all website features (links, ticketing integrations, forms, and user flows) are functioning properly and optimized for user experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or paid media
Proven experience with Google Ads and paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat) including campaign optimization
Experience with email platforms such as Mailchimp and HubSpot
Familiarity with tools like Linktree and Monday.com
Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube)
Ability to analyze data, optimize campaigns, and drive measurable results
Experience with conversion tracking and performance reporting
Strong writing and copy-editing skills
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
Highly organized with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple campaigns
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and game days
COMPENSATION
$45,000 - $50,000 annually
