Job Title: Production Graphic Artist – Décor
Department: Décor Department
Summary: The Production Graphic Artist will work on the technical transition of customer artwork into high-quality glass décor through expertise in Adobe Suite for world-renowned brands in the beverage and candle industries. In this dual-capacity role, you will also serve as the primary authority on color matching and ink blending for screen printing and organic spray processes while ensuring production feasibility across all custom orders. Your expertise will bridge the gap between sales and manufacturing, overseeing everything from color-matching to the creation of design-specific technical documentation. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and eager to learn new skills and use their own expertise in an office and manufacturing environment.
- Responsible for the creation of glass proofs using customer supplied artwork and internal blueprints
- Art manipulation using Adobe Suite. This could include logo manipulation, color separations, and preparation for screen printing
- Creation of film negatives and design specific technical documentation
- Design troubleshooting regarding production feasibility and printing art onto the glass
- Color selections based on design and available ink types
- Custom color blending in multiple ink types to match customer supplied targets or the Pantone color series
- Maintain communication with various internal departments for new orders and designs
- Lead color matching for UV screen printing process
- Lead color matching for organic spray process
- Create decorating area per blank shape and size
- Manage spray sampling in a manufacturing environment
- Perform basic routine maintenance on sampling equipment

- Highly motivated; able to complete workload and work on problems of day to day operations
- Project management experience
- Understand Color Theory
- Know how to use basic tools such as rulers, calipers, height gauges etc.
- Have an understanding and willingness to learn to use equipment such as automatic spray guns, ink dispenser, film developer/imagesetter
- Screen Printing / Film Separation
- Must be an experienced user of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Advanced understanding of Color Theory
- Understanding of 4 Color Process and Spot Color Screen Printing
- Basic knowledge of CorelDRAW
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
- Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Arts and/or 3-5 years experience in pre-press production
- Office and Manufacturing Environment
- Lifting / pushing / pulling: Up to 50 lbs.
- Standing / Walking : 50% of the day
