Video Editor

To support a growing MCAT preparation company, the full-time remote Video Editor will manage the editing of both long-form and short-form video content, collaborating with on-camera creators to produce polished, engaging videos for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Key responsibilities

Edit long-form YouTube videos and podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality final cuts with attention to color, sound, and graphics
Produce high-volume short-form videos for social media, focusing on engaging pacing and effective storytelling
Collaborate closely with creators to provide filmmaking advice and maintain brand consistency across all video content

Required qualifications

5+ years of experience in editing professional YouTube and/or podcast content for the Senior Video Editor role; 2+ years for the Fast-Turnaround Editor role
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve, with skills in motion graphics using After Effects
Strong understanding of video pacing, sound design, and effective storytelling techniques
Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with creators and provide constructive feedback
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
