Tasks

Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications on the OpenShift platform, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Pipeline Management: Utilize OpenShift Pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, enhancing the efficiency of the development lifecycle.

GitOps Implementation: Implement and manage OpenShift GitOps practices to streamline application delivery and version control.

Helm Chart Management: Create and manage Helm charts for packaging and deploying applications, ensuring consistency and reliability across environments.

Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, QA, and other development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and application development, and be willing to learn new tools and methodologies as needed.

Requirements

Proficiency in OpenShift: Strong experience in application development using OpenShift, with a deep understanding of its architecture and capabilities.

OpenShift Pipelines: Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift Pipelines.

OpenShift GitOps: Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools for managing application deployments and infrastructure as code.

Helm Knowledge: Solid understanding of Helm for managing Kubernetes applications, including creating and deploying Helm charts.

Be able to travel once a month to a specific European city
Bonus Skills:

Cert Manager: Knowledge of Cert Manager for managing SSL/TLS certificates in Kubernetes environments.

ServiceMesh: Familiarity with ServiceMesh technologies to enhance microservices communication and management.

GitLab: Experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD processes.
Desirable Experience:

IBM MQ: Familiarity with IBM MQ for messaging and integration solutions.

Payments Experience: Previous experience in payment processing systems or financial applications is a plus.
