Siemens Energy is seeking motivated individuals for the role of Mechanical Field Service Representative for the North America Field Service organization. This position will support the Aero-Derivative, Small and Medium Gas Turbine fleet. This position is responsible for performing various facets involving the installation, commissioning, and servicing of the AGT, SGT, and MGT units. The position is the primary source of technical information and services at our customer sites. You will serve as the link between our customers and the Districts, including but not limited to, management, sales, and technical support. This role requires a dedicated training program to become a certified Siemens Energy FSR. Training is conducted partly in the US and in Europe.

How You'll Make an Impact

Perform hands-on work on rotating machine core engine assembly/disassembly and auxiliary maintenance work

Assist in handling spare parts, service tools, installation tools, consumables, and documentation in the project scope

Coordinate erection/assembly activities in accordance with valid instructions, check lists, specifications, and regulations.

Prepare and issue detailed reports regarding scope executed, the condition, repairs performed, and recommendations for customer equipment.

Ensure all activities adhere to Siemens Energy’s safety, health, and environmental standards, as well as OEM work standards and procedures.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or High School diploma, GED or technical vocational or apprenticeship training, combined with prior control field service or equivalent related experience.

Professional Experience (5+ years) as a Mechanical Field Service Representative, preferably in gas turbine maintenance or related engineering field.

Experience working in the field within industry with focus on mechanical and/or electrical work.

Technical Knowledge on combustion turbine and associated auxiliary systems.

Experience reading, interpreting, and following technical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and written work instructions/procedures is preferred.

Open to travel both in the US/Canada region but also globally and work for 1-6 weeks at a time (occasionally longer). Typically, the role is on active assignments approximately 70% of the year and traveling under short notice.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
