Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in content writing, editorial, executive communications, technical writing, or a related B2B marketing role required
  • Demonstrated ability to turn complex subject matter into clear, compelling, accurate content
  • Strong experience working with executives, technical experts, or other high-value content contributors
  • Excellent writing, editing, and quality-control skills across multiple content formats
  • Ability to manage structured intake, review, and editorial workflows with strong attention to detail
  • Experience collaborating across communications, product marketing, and digital content teams
  • Tangible experience using AI-powered tools and automation to improve efficiency, generate insights, and enhance execution across marketing and/or GTM workflows
  • Experience in deep-tech, enterprise software, infrastructure, or other technically demanding environments
  • Familiarity with editorial systems that support web, answer‑engine, and executive content needs
  • Strong instincts for executive voice, technical precision, and content reuse
  • Ability to work quickly without sacrificing judgment or quality
  • Comfort building process discipline in a content environment that is still scaling

What the job involves

  • The Principal, Content Marketing will operate as a core builder in Quantinuum's editorial and thought‑leadership system
  • The position is designed to increase the throughput, consistency, and quality of executive and technical content that supports communications, web, product marketing, and broader go‑to‑market activity
  • Executive content is primary in this role, with selective support for technical and web‑related drafting where source quality, speed, or executive context make that contribution valuable
  • Success depends on turning source material from executives and technical experts into clear, accurate, publishable assets while building stronger intake, review, and quality‑control discipline
  • Executive Byline and Thought Leadership Drafting: Own first‑draft production for executive bylines, articles, speeches, op‑eds, and thought‑leadership pieces
  • Speeches and Talking Points: Draft and refine executive speech content, talking points, and related narrative materials in partnership with Brand and Communications
  • SME Intake and Interview Process: Run structured intake with subject‑matter experts and executives to turn expert knowledge into usable source material
  • Editorial QA and Review: Own editorial review, quality control, and fact‑checking discipline across complex executive and technical assets
  • Technical Content Support: Support technical blogs, articles, and related assets that require strong editorial translation and precision
  • Web and Product Marketing Draft Support: Support draft production for web and product‑marketing content where source material quality or speed is a constraint
  • AEO‑Structured Content Support: Contribute structured content modules and reusable editorial elements that support answer‑engine readiness where appropriate
  • AI‑Enabled Editorial Workflows: Apply AI‑enabled workflows to SME intake, drafting support, editorial QA, content adaptation, and production efficiency while maintaining quality and voice control
