Business Development & Studio Growth Executive (Freelance)

We are looking for a proactive and self-driven Freelance Business Development & Studio Growth Executive to support the growth of M.A BALLET.

Role Overview
This role focuses on two core areas:
Growing student enrolments for M.A BALLET classes
Increasing studio utilisation by bringing in freelance teachers and external class bookings (M.A Space function)
This is a results-driven role focused on outreach, conversions, and revenue growth — not administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Growth (M.A BALLET – B2C)
Respond to Instagram / WhatsApp / Emailenquiries
Follow up with potential students and parents
Convert enquiries into trial classes and paid enrolments
Support growth of ballet class attendance and retention
Help promote classes, workshops, and seasonal programs
2. Freelance Teacher / Small Business & Studio Growth (M.A SPACE – B2B)
Actively reach out to freelance yoga, dance, pilates, and fitness instructors
Introduce studio rental opportunities at our space
Convert instructors into regular studio users (weekly/monthly bookings)
Build long-term partnerships with independent teachers
Help fill off-peak studio hours and maximise studio utilisation
3. Lead Management & Tracking
Track all leads with proper source tagging (student vs teacher vs ads vs referral)
Maintain updated status of all enquiries (new → trial → confirmed → repeat)
Ensure all leads are followed up consistently
Maintain simple tracking sheet / system provided by the studio
Compensation
1. Base Fee (Freelance basis)
$800 per month
Covers:
Basic enquiry responses
Follow-ups
Outreach activity (potential students + freelance teachers / small businesses)
Maintaining active lead pipeline
2. Commission (Performance-Based)
Students (B2C – M.A BALLET)
$30 per new sign up paying student (one-time)
Freelance Teachers (B2B – M.A SPACE)
$40 per new confirmed teacher
PLUS
10% of first month studio rental revenue
Commission Rules
Commission applies only to new clients brought in by you
Commission is limited to the first month only
All leads must be properly tagged for commission eligibility
No recorded source = no commission
What Success Looks Like
Steady flow of new student enrolments for M.A BALLET
Consistent freelance teachers booking studio space
High utilisation of studio across weekdays and weekends
Predictable monthly revenue growth from both streams
Working Style
Fully freelance / independent contractor role
Flexible working hours (no fixed schedule)
Results and output-based performance (focus on KPIs, not hours worked)
Work independently to manage outreach, follow-ups, and conversions
Regular coordination with the studio team when needed
Weekly check-in meeting with Director (once a week)
Review progress (students, teachers, leads)
Discuss challenges and improvements
Align on priorities for the week ahead
Ensure accountability and support for growth targets
