Responsibilities

Summarize daily show content into columns on the show website, including links to guests and related content.
Work independently, exercising good judgment and discretion.
Produce 300‑word daily columns.
Collaborate directly with the primary host and guest hosts as needed.
Adhere to a 3‑hour show schedule (12–3pmEST, Monday–Friday, excluding major holidays).
Meet an 18‑hour per week workload.
Act as a team member and support Liberty University’s mission.
Qualifications and Credentials

Upper‑level student (sophomore, junior, or senior) who has spent at least one prior semester at Liberty University.
Excellent writing skills with strong verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and WordPress; Adobe and related programs experience preferred.
Digital Media and Journalism major with web content experience preferred; Journalism or advertising/promotion experience a plus.
Strong organizational, people, and communication skills; honest, dependable, and possess integrity.
Strong graphic design skills and proficiency with Adobe, Microsoft Office, and related programs.
Ability to respond to phone conversations with tact and efficiency.
Abilities and Competencies

Must communicate clearly in written and verbal English, represent Liberty University professionally, and possess public communication skills to serve a diverse audience.
Physical and Sensory Abilities

Occasional travel to local and campus locations; may require sitting for extended periods, frequent ear and speech ability, occasional standing, walking, and stairs.
Ability to lift up to 10pounds, reach overhead, kneel, or stoop as needed.
Working Conditions

Environment: climate‑controlled office, well lighted, moderate noise level.
Driving: personal vehicle or LU vehicles required; valid Virginia driver’s license and liability insurance required.
