Location

Remote 100% within California. The Foundation’s main headquarters are located in Sacramento, California. Remote opportunities are offered throughout the entire state.
What You’ll Do

Support climate action, workforce development, career pathways, and related systemwide initiatives.
Build subject‑matter fluency within assigned portfolios.
Guide marketing strategy, manage project communication, and ensure creative works progress with clarity, accountability, and alignment.
Serve as primary liaison between program partners, Creative Services, external vendors, and internal collaborators.
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to advance FoundationCCC’s programs, partnerships, and initiatives.
Strategize, research, write, edit, and produce compelling content for diverse platforms including websites, email, social media, advertisements, fact sheets, articles, press releases, reports, video scripts, and campaign materials.
Manage digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, and programmatic advertising channels.
Utilize analytics tools to measure marketing effectiveness, optimize campaigns, and inform future strategies.
Develop agendas, facilitate strategic meetings, track project milestones, manage budgets, and provide consistent progress updates to stakeholders.
Maintain accurate project records in Asana.
Qualifications

5 years of experience in integrated marketing communications, project management, content creation, and strategic campaign planning.
Familiarity with California Community Colleges or higher education marketing.
Exceptional writing, editing, and content strategy skills for various media formats.
Strong project management skills, including managing timelines, deliverables, dependencies, feedback, approvals, and competing priorities across multiple complex projects.
Ability to build subject‑matter fluency in assigned portfolios and apply that knowledge to marketing strategy, content development, and creative coordination.
Proficiency with digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, and related campaign management tools.
Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SproutSocial, or similar platforms to assess performance and inform strategy.

Salary

Pay Range: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00. Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
