This role will serve as the owner of public relations (PR) and social media strategy and execution at Mendix. The position includes developing global PR initiatives, crafting thought‑leadership messaging, pitching stories, and positioning Mendix executives in the media to increase brand recognition worldwide. You will also own a social media growth strategy, leveraging influencers and innovative tactics to boost follower counts, enhance engagement with our user and buyer audiences, and strengthen overall brand affinity.
Responsibilities

Own PR strategy and collaborate with global and regional agencies to develop compelling stories, pitch to media, and position the Mendix brand in the media.
Identify top‑tier media publications relevant to the Mendix buyer audience.
Act as a thought‑leadership expert and create opportunities for executive spokespeople to center the brand in the broader market.
Lead and execute a social‑media strategy that builds executive thought leadership, amplifies PR initiatives, and drives engagement while reinforcing brand positioning.
Develop influencer strategy for executive leadership and other personas to increase brand awareness and reach across target buyers and users.
Work closely with Siemens PR teams and leadership to ensure both Mendix and Siemens brands are positioned appropriately.
Own channel growth, referral traffic and brand recall goals and metrics.
About You

7+ years of experience in PR for B2B companies.
Curiosity around B2B marketing trends and a constant pursuit of new developments online, particularly in social media.
Understanding of how actions drive business growth beyond your specific function.
Experience building and executing in an enterprise account‑based model.
Proven ability to build bridges across disparate organizations, unify cross‑functional teams under a shared strategy, and partner across functions.
In-depth knowledge of business data and a data‑driven approach to decision making.
