Job Overview

GoodRx is seeking a pharmacy editor to help create compelling, consumer-friendly content that informs and supports healthcare decision‑making. In this role, you’ll research, write and edit content across a wide range of topics for GoodRx Health, translating complex clinical information into clear, accessible language for a lay audience.
Key Responsibilities

Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of freelance pharmacist writers and reviewers
Write, edit, and review consumer‑friendly drug and health content for clinical accuracy, clarity, and tone
Translate complex clinical information into engaging and easy‑to‑understand content for a lay audience
Ensure content aligns with GoodRx editorial standards, style guidelines, and SEO best practices
Stay up to date on clinical guidelines, new drug approvals, and emerging healthcare trends
Collaborate cross‑functionally with SEO, product, and marketing teams to support content initiatives, including serving as a clinical expert and reviewer for social, marketing, and video content
Review and update existing content to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and relevance
Support content requests tied to business priorities, including new drug launches
Engage with pharmacy students conducting their APPEs with other GoodRx pharmacists, with the opportunity to precept students
Qualifications

PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree required; active pharmacist licensed preferred
5+ years of experience in pharmacy practice, medical writing, editing, or related field
Experience writing or editing drug or patient education content preferred
Experience working with freelance writers or cross‑functional teams is a plus
Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content strategy is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical information into clear, consumer‑friendly content
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply clinical guidelines, prescribing information, and primary literature
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in health and drug information
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently
