Program Overview

Wanted: Individuals ready to start a long‑term, stable career in the electrical trade. Join the Amteck Quick Start program for paid training over 4 weeks with immediate hire opportunities upon completion.
Participants learn the fundamentals of basic electricity, construction applications, various types of electrical construction opportunities, and job safety. All participants receive a set of tools to begin their career in the electrical trade.
Compensation and Advancement

Hired as full‑time employees at $15/hour. After training, you can transition to roles as electricians, low‑voltage/fire‑alarm technicians, or other positions at Amteck. The apprenticeship program begins shortly after starting full‑time employment.
Eligible for pay raises upon completion of each semester of the program (every 6 months). Opportunity to study the National Electric Code and prepare for a state journeyman license exam. Many graduating apprentices later promoted to estimators, procurement associates, foremen, and superintendents.
Requirements

Experience with basic hand and power tools
Familiarity with reading tape measures
Eagerness to learn and grow within a rewarding career
