This role is centered on driving revenue growth through expanding client relationships and increasing overall share of wallet. The Senior Relationship Manager acts as the primary point of contact, leading transactions from initial prospecting through closing while delivering tailored financial solutions that align with client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Drive loan origination, deposit growth, and cross-selling of banking products and services Build and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, and centers of influence Deepen existing client relationships by proactively identifying financial opportunities Structure, negotiate, and execute complex CRE transactions, including construction, bridge, and permanent financing Partner with legal counsel on loan documentation and term sheets Present transactions to Loan Committee and senior leadership Maintain portfolio quality through ongoing credit monitoring, covenant compliance, and risk assessment Review appraisals, environmental reports, and financial analyses to ensure policy and regulatory compliance Collaborate across departments to drive efficient deal execution Support capital markets activities, including loan syndications and participations Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development Ensure compliance with BSA, AML, OFAC, and all regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MS in Real Estate Finance/Investment preferred 10+ years of CRE banking experience, including credit structuring and portfolio management Strong expertise in real estate underwriting, financial analysis, and credit risk assessment Proven ability to originate and close complex transactions Experience with hedging instruments and capital markets strategies preferred NMLS registration required (or willingness to obtain prior to hire) Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
