The Role

We’re hiring a

Staff Writer - Markets & Investing

to help build the next generation of finance and investing newsletters at Invested Inc.

You’ll work inside our editorial team producing clear, engaging content across a portfolio of fast-growing newsletters covering markets, investing, and financial trends. This role reports directly to our Head of Content and is designed for someone who wants to become exceptional at explaining markets to a broad audience.

Early on, you’ll take ownership of several weekly newsletters and assist with special editions and deeper-dive pieces across our network. Over time, you’ll learn the voice, structure, and editorial process behind high-performing financial newsletters and grow into more responsibility.

This is a writing-heavy role, but it’s also a

builder role . You’ll help experiment with new formats, support distribution and promotions, and contribute to the systems that help our newsletters grow.

If you’re looking for a place to quietly publish articles and disappear, this probably isn’t it. If you want to build something and get better quickly, it might be.

What You’ll Do

Write and publish weekly finance and investing newsletters

Research markets, companies, and economic trends

Develop special editions and deeper-dive content for our newsletter portfolio

Collaborate with editors on voice, storytelling, and structure

Assist with newsletter promotions and sponsored sends

Support distribution across platforms like Twitter and Reddit

Contribute ideas for new content formats and editorial experiments

Help the team continuously improve the clarity, usefulness, and reach of our content

Over time, the right person could grow into owning editorial responsibility for one or more newsletters.

Who You Are

Strong writer with a clear, engaging voice

Interested in markets, investing, finance, or economic trends

Comfortable researching topics and turning them into readable stories

Curious and fast-learning

Detail-oriented and reliable with deadlines

Excited by fast-moving startup environments

Experience writing about finance or investing is helpful, but not required.
