Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role:
Strategic Influence: Act as the primary bridge between market demands and internal execution. You must expertly influence key stakeholders across Product Lines (PLs), Business Lines (BLs), and at the Division or Corporate level to secure R&D prioritization, capital allocation, and cross-functional alignment for AI-specific roadmaps
Market Analysis & Segmentation (TAM/SAM): Drive comprehensive Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM) analysis for new power solutions within the AI/HPC space. Use data-driven insights to prioritize investment areas and uncover untapped market segments for high-margin growth
Customer centric Innovation & Investment Strategy: Monitor emerging AI hardware trends and competitor activities to generate and champion differentiated semiconductor product investment ideas. Use market feedback and TAM/SAM analysis to build robust business cases for R&D spending on next-generation technologies (e.g., GaN/SiC/Si FETs, eFuses, highly integrated digital controllers, IBC modules, Drivers, POLs etc.) that capture maximum ROI
Strategic Growth & Design Wins: Lead the identification and closing of key strategic opportunities to grow the design-win funnel for power semiconductor products
Technical-Business Synthesis: Collaborate with the Architects to translate complex technical specs into value propositions for customers
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain high-touch relationships with key decision-makers at hyperscalers OEMs/ODMs and data center operators globally
Ecosystem Alliances: Build strategic alliances with technology providers & integrators to accelerate the adoption of our IBC & Hot swap products portfolio
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:
BS in Electrical Engineering or related field; MBA is required to bridge the technical-commercial gap
5+ years experience in business development or sales within the semiconductor or data center infrastructure business
Customer Presence & Mindset:
Proven ability to establish a strong physical presence at customer sites, conducting deep‑dive technical/commercial reviews that build long‑term trust and partnership
Ability to command a room, whether presenting to internal Division VPs or external C-level executives at major cloud providers
A mindset focused on solving the customer’s ultimate pain points rather than just selling silicon
Data-Driven Influence Skillset:
Proven ability to use data (market share trends, unit economics, yield impacts, and competitive benchmarking) to influence internal leadership at the Business Line and Division levels
Mastery in developing NPV/IRR models and sensitivity analyses to build consensus among engineering and finance stakeholders for new product investments
Ability to neutralize internal "gut-feel" opinions with verifiable market data, customer pipeline metrics, and rigorous TAM/SAM forecasting
Go-to-Market (GTM) Skillset:
Proven ability to develop and execute global GTM plans, defining value propositions and launch sequencing
Expertise in creating and delivering compelling TCO/ROI-based sales pitches
Skill in segmenting complex markets (AI training vs. inference) to achieve dominant market share
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of power distribution architectures (48V to 800V HVDC)
Proven Success: Demonstrated history of closing high-value, complex opportunities with major global players (e.g., CSPs Worldwide)
Preferred Skills
Strong familiarity with AI accelerators and their specific power requirements
Established network within the Open Compute Project (OCP) or similar industry standard-setting bodies
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously through the ambiguity of a rapidly evolving technology super cycle

The Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate in the United States is: San Jose, CA Minimum of $211,600 salary per year / Maximum of $245,500 salary per year. El Segundo, CA Minimum of $185,100 salary per year / Maximum of $214,700 salary per year. In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
