Job Title: Director, Audience Development
Role Overview

The Director of Audience Development is responsible for driving scalable, efficient customer growth for McAfee through data‑driven acquisition strategies across owned channels. This role leads the development and optimization of full‑funnel acquisition programs, leveraging audience insights, performance analytics, and experimentation to increase reach, conversion, and customer lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning: develop and own the integrated organic marketing strategy, translate business objectives into channel‑specific roadmaps and KPIs, ensure brand alignment.
Landing Page Optimization & Site Experience: create a robust learning agenda, map landing pages to customer segments, use personalized approaches to maximize CRO.
Social Media and Community: define growth and engagement strategy across key platforms, improve trust scores, guide content adaptations, monitor trends.
Partner with Paid Social & Content Marketing: optimize content for discoverability, drive editorial calendar aligned with launches and campaigns.
Performance & Optimization: establish metrics and reporting, analyze data for experimentation, drive a test‑and‑learn culture.
Team & Cross‑Functional Leadership: lead and develop team, partner with brand, demand generation, product marketing, sales, and manage agency partners.
Qualifications

10+ years in audience acquisition, growth, or performance marketing in a high‑engagement, direct‑to‑consumer business.
Strong track record of driving subscriber growth; subscription experience is a plus.
Deep expertise in full‑funnel acquisition strategy: prospecting, conversion optimization, onboarding, lifecycle value.
Proven ability to use data and experimentation to improve CAC, LTV, payback period, churn, and retention.
Proficiency with analytics, attribution, and martech platforms; first‑party data activation and segmentation.
Demonstrated success leading, mentoring, and scaling high‑performing acquisition teams.
Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with product, lifecycle, analytics, finance, and brand teams.
Strategic mindset balancing short‑term performance goals and long‑term subscriber value and brand health.
Agile marketer able to pivot under pressure.
Hybrid work model; must reside within commutable distance to New York NYC.
