Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative

Medical Writer

with a strong background in

Marketing Copywriting

to join our 8-person Digital Marketing team.

This role focuses on supporting marketing efforts for over 30 established brand products.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between clinical data and creative marketing, utilizing

AI/Large Language Models (LLMs)

to produce high-quality, compliant digital content on a scale.

You will be responsible for reviewing medical studies and data, ensuring technical accuracy while maintaining an engaging promotional tone.

Qualifications & Experience

Must-Have Requirements:

Experience:

5+ years in healthcare marketing, medical writing, within pharma/biotech-related roles.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Hybrid Skillset:

A unique blend of

Marketing Copywriter

and

Medical Writer

backgrounds.

AI Proficiency:

Hands-on experience with AI tools; ability to prompt effectively and mitigate AI-driven inaccuracies.

Clinical Literacy:

Proven ability to review medical studies, interpret data, and ensure clinical accuracy.

Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, compliance standards, and promotional guidelines.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with extreme attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of FDA, EMA, or other regulatory guidelines for healthcare communications.

Experience with digital marketing strategies and SEO best practices.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Familiarity with specific AI/Content platforms:

Jasper, ChatGPT, Claude, Poe.

Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development:

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and refine digital copy for websites, email campaigns, social media, and other promotional channels.

Data Translation:

Review medical studies and clinical data to adapt existing commercial and medical assets into clear, aligned brand messaging.

AI Integration & Prompting:

Utilize AI tools (LLMs) to generate initial drafts and enhance content creation efficiency. You must be comfortable with prompting tools, managing hallucination biases, and creating content at scale.

Compliance & MLR:

Ensure all content adheres to

MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory)

standards. Review and fine-tune AI-generated content to correct inaccuracies and ensure compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines.

Verification:

Verify references and source materials to maintain credibility and adherence to healthcare regulations.

Strategy:

Stay informed on industry trends, compliance requirements, and emerging AI technologies to optimize digital marketing strategies.
