Basic Job Functions: The Nucor Insulated Panel Group’s (NIPG) Sales Manager will serve as the commercial leader for the Southeast Region. The position is responsible for the growth and development of the commercial team while implementing Operational and Commercial Excellence for NIPG. The Sales Manager will be a driver in meeting goals such as taking care of our customers, continually improving safety, environmental efforts, quality, costs, productivity, and profitability. Job duties include but are not limited to: Leadership role in maximizing the NIPG return on sales, growing market share, enhancing product offerings and developing a culture of continuous improvement. Provide experience and leadership to critically analyze business needs and help formulate a clear vision and strategy. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: • Five years of combined experience and leadership in commercial, sales, and/or marketing • Ability and means to travel as needed to Take Care of Our Customers and support the division Preferred Qualifications: • 4-year degree or equivalent experience in a related field • Prior sales or commercial leadership experience in steel and/or manufacturing • Prior work experience in insulated panel
