Job Summary
Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Financial Applications Director to lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of Workday Financial modules. The role focuses on improving system performance, streamlining workflows, and supporting Core Financials, Financial Planning, Procurement, Inventory, and Strategic Sourcing.
Responsibilities
Lead implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of Workday Financial modules.
Improve system performance and streamline workflows.
Support key areas including Core Financials, Financial Planning, Procurement, Inventory, and Strategic Sourcing.
Strengthen supply chain and financial operations through better processes and data use.
Ensure strong system governance, including security, role‑based access, and internal controls.
Leverage Workday release cycles, Adaptive Planning, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau to optimize performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field or equivalent experience.
7+ years of corporate financial systems experience, with at least 5 years focused on Workday Financials.
5+ years of team leadership, supervisory, or management experience in a fast‑paced environment.
Proven success leading enterprise‑level financial systems projects, including implementations, upgrades, and process optimizations.
Deep understanding of Workday Financials modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Expense Management, HRIS, and Financial Reporting.
Proficiency with Workday tools: Financial Data Model (FDM), Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Workday Integration Tools.
Knowledge of system security and compliance, including role‑based permissions, SOX, and internal controls compliance.
Familiarity with Workday’s release cycles and ability to leverage updates to optimize system performance.
Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning and advanced reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Workday certified preferred.

Location and Compensation
Pay range: $141,299 to $175,151 annually, based on experience.
