Content Developer

The Content Developer will be focused on developing and producing original content files encompassing our telecommunications client’s training program across 11 different overarching groups and topics (365 individual lessons). This person will be developing media (video and audio), content files in SCORM format and HTML packages based on business needs. The ideal person has experience developing interactive content and is bilingual in English & Spanish.
Job Duties

Collaborate with cross-functional business and content departments and team members to brainstorm content for learning and training material to gather content requirements.
Build and test interactive multimedia content (quizzes, simulations, animations, audio and videos) based on approved instructional designs and storyboards to enhance learner engagement.
Develop, upload, test and manage SCORM and xAPI compliant courses within the companies Learning Management System (LMS).
Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with learning objectives based on department while transforming business needs into effective training solutions.
Gather functional requirements to ensure content development is prioritized, meets the company standards and is of the highest quality.
Apply instructional design best practices and adult learning principles to create engaging, effective learning experiences.
Edit and proofread audio, video, and content graphics using industry-standard tools to enhance the overall learner experience before publication.
Education & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Bilingual in English & Spanish is a must.
2+ years’ experience developing training & learning content files and content using SCORM formats 1.2 and 1.3 (2004) is a must.
Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), including Adobe Learning Manager.
Must have experience with HTML packages (.zip), AICC and xAPI.
Previous experience with Video (mp4, wmv, avi, mov) & Audio (mp3, wav, aac, m4a) is a must.
