The Senior Creative Director provides creative vision and strategic direction across all brand, marketing, and production initiatives. This role partners closely with Brand Visionaries and the leadership team to conceptualize and execute world‑class creative strategies that drive growth, engagement, and brand distinction. The Senior Creative Director oversees the creative process from ideation through execution for offers, events, content, and campaigns, ensuring that every creative output aligns with company goals and brand identity. This position requires a highly experienced creative leader with exceptional communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities / Duties
Define and enforce the creative direction & brand identity across all New Reach brands.
Translate marketing and business strategy into effective visual and narrative storytelling.
Lead high‑stakes creative, including brand campaigns, major launches, and event collateral.
Approve all final creative assets that affect brand reputation or company‑wide messaging.
Lead the Creative Department, including Design, Video, and Social teams.
Manage creative managers (Design, Production, Social Media) and mentor senior creatives.
Establish and maintain department workflows, SLAs, and quality gates.
Ensure all creative production aligns with Marketing Council timelines and priorities.
Serve as the final brand gatekeeper for all creative output.
Review high‑stakes assets for message alignment, brand compliance, and audience fit.
Enforce QA and review processes across video, design, and content systems.
Maintain up‑to‑date brand guides, creative standards, and templates in shared repositories.
Partner with Strategy and Growth to align creative with campaign goals and performance metrics.
Collaborate with Copy/Email and MarTech to ensure unified storytelling across funnels and platforms.
Support Product, Events, and Legal in delivering compliant and on‑brand assets.
Lead creative reviews within the Marketing Council for major launches.
Coach creative leads in management, judgment, and executional quality.
Run creative syncs to align on priorities, blockers, and capacity.
Foster a culture of feedback, mentorship, and professional development.
Build hiring and onboarding plans for creative talent in collaboration with HR and leadership.
Standardize department systems for naming, version control, and archiving.
Monitor delivery and quality KPIs, including on‑time rate, QA pass rate, and efficiency metrics.
Drive creative optimization through analytics, A/B testing, and post‑campaign reviews.
Audit templates, SOPs, and process adherence quarterly.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in creative leadership roles, including at least 5 years at a senior or executive level.
Proven success developing and executing creative strategies for large‑scale campaigns, events, and brand initiatives.
Strong creative direction, storytelling, and conceptual development skills across multiple media formats.
Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with experience managing cross‑functional creative teams.
Deep understanding of brand development, marketing strategy, and audience engagement.
High level of strategic thinking, combined with hands‑on ability to bring ideas to execution.
Ability to travel up to 30% for events, productions, and on‑site collaborations.
Experience working closely with executives, talent, or visionary leaders to execute creative strategy.
Strong business acumen and ability to align creative decisions with organizational objectives.
