Position Summary
As the Product/Channel Marketing Manager at TCW, you will lead how the firm positions and brings its investment capabilities to market across asset classes and client channels. You will serve as a senior partner to Sales, Product Strategy, Investments, Compliance, and Marketing, ensuring that TCW's most important commercial priorities translate into clear, compelling, and effective client-facing materials.

This is a highly collaborative, high-impact role within a lean and fast-moving organization. To be successful, you will bring strong judgment, the ability to prioritize competing demands, and a willingness to remain closely involved in execution. You will elevate the quality and consistency of TCW's messaging while ensuring materials are practical, differentiated, and aligned with how clients engage.

Essential Duties
Product Marketing Strategy & Prioritization

Serve as the central point of coordination across Sales, Product Strategy, Investments, Compliance, and Marketing

Set overall product marketing priorities aligned to the firm's highest‑impact commercial objectives

Develop and maintain clear prioritization frameworks and workflows to manage demand across teams

Ensure marketing resources are focused on initiatives that support revenue generation and strategic growth

Provide thoughtful pushback when needed to maintain focus, quality, and effectiveness

Partnership with Sales

Act as a close partner to Sales leadership and sales teams, with a strong understanding of how clients engage with content

Translate investment strategies into clear, concise, and actionable messaging

Apply a practical lens to all materials, ensuring content is usable and relevant in real client conversations

Support sales enablement efforts including presentations, campaigns, events, and client‑facing materials

Messaging, Positioning & Content Quality

Elevate the overall quality, consistency, and differentiation of TCW's client‑facing materials

Ensure content is accurate, creative, compliant, and competitive, while also engaging and clearly positioned

Unify messaging across teams so outputs reflect a cohesive TCW voice rather than fragmented inputs

Partner with creative and marketing teams to modernize storytelling and presentation standards

Content Development & Thought Leadership

Work closely with investment teams, product specialists, and internal and external writers to develop high‑quality content

Translate complex and technical inputs into client‑friendly narratives

Identify content gaps based on sales needs and market priorities and drive creation accordingly

Establish a sustainable and repeatable approach to thought leadership and campaign content

Process & Operating Discipline

Establish efficient, scalable processes for content development, review, and approvals

Improve coordination across teams, including compliance, to support predictable timelines and delivery

Increase transparency and operating discipline across marketing workflows in a resource‑constrained environment

Collaboration Across Marketing Functions

Partner with digital, social, and campaign teams to ensure content is effectively distributed and activated

Support integration across channels including email, web, events, presentations, and CRM

Maximize the impact of existing tools and platforms through better prioritization and content strategy

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years' experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or related roles within asset management or financial services

Experience supporting wealth and/or intermediary distribution

Familiarity with fixed income, equities, alternatives, and multi‑asset strategies

Experience working with a wide range of investment vehicles including mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and partnerships.

Experience operating effectively in lean, fast‑paced organizations

Professional Skills Qualifications

Strong commercial judgment and an understanding of what drives sales outcomes

Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing demands

Hands‑on, execution‑oriented leadership style

Ability to build strong relationships with sales, investment, and senior stakeholders

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong instinct for effective content and messaging

Experience in creating unique, differentiated and impactful marketing materials

Desired Qualifications

Experience bridging product strategy and marketing

Exposure to building or scaling messaging frameworks or content platforms

Prior experience in a client‑facing or sales role (e.g., internal wholesaler or product specialist) a plus

Estimated Compensation
Base Salary:

For CA/NY based position, the base salary range is $220k-$250k.

Other Compensation:

In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
