Social Media Manager
TRUEWERK is seeking a Social Media Manager in Denver, Colorado who does more than publish content for likes and shares — we’re looking for someone to grow and foster a thriving community of lifelong brand advocates. This role requires a deep understanding of our brand, our products, and the capable people who wear them. You will translate our performance‑driven mission into a best‑in‑class social presence that strengthens our voice, fuels engagement, and drives brand affinity.
As the steward of TRUEWERK’s social channels and brand ambassadors, you will shape how our story is told across platforms and how we leverage social to reflect and amplify the significance of the community we serve. Every post, reel, campaign, comment, and response should reflect our mission to create the world’s best workwear and celebrate the people who wear it, following an “earned, not assumed” mindset.

Role & Responsibilities
Brand Positioning
Tell the TRUEWERK Story: Create compelling, authentic content that highlights the real lives of our customers — their craft, their challenges, and their wins. Translate our brand values into engaging visual and written narratives across social platforms.
Lead Social Campaigns with Purpose: Conceptualize and launch campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and traffic — ensuring each initiative aligns with larger marketing goals and seasonal product pushes.
Amplify Through Paid Social: Partner with the Paid Media group on content, trends and best practices from organic social to inform and optimize our paid social activities
Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Work closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to ensure social storytelling supports broader brand and business objectives.
Community and Brand Engagement
Build & Ignite Community: Develop and execute social strategies that spark conversation, encourage participation, and deepen loyalty. Foster an engaged, proud community around the TRUEWERK lifestyle.
Be the Voice of the Brand: Engage directly with our audience — responding to comments, DMs, and conversations in a way that reflects the TRUEWERK tone: confident, respectful, and real.
Champion User‑Generated Content: Partner with customers, ambassadors, influencers, and internal teams to surface powerful real‑world stories. Build interactive experiences that encourage the community to share their TRUEWERK moments. Curate and re‑share UGC, and manage usage rights to feed usable content to Paid Media group.
Build and Grow our Brand Ambassador Program: Actively recruit and foster Brand Ambassadors through social engagement, bridging the gap between loyalty and influencer programs, and farming a steady stream of UGC for organic and paid media use.
Amplify Cultural Moments: Keep pace with community sentiment, quickly identifying important cultural trends and significant activities. Celebrate the wins, mourn the losses, laugh at the ridiculous moments, and highlight the things that build people up for the edification and betterment of all.
Performance and Amplification
Elevate Content: Create, deploy and optimize content at the speed of the internet. Analyze performance metrics, audience insights, and platform trends to refine strategy and optimize content. Turn data into actionable storytelling improvements.
Report Impact & Insights: Provide regular performance updates with insights and recommendations that demonstrate how social media is strengthening brand affinity and driving growth.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor cultural and industry trends, competitive landscape, emerging platforms, and innovative content formats to keep TRUEWERK at the forefront of digital storytelling and ensure we’re listening to our customers, on and off our owned platforms.
Qualifications
Must have
Hands on experience running social media for a consumer brand, including managing a content calendar, creative brief and content creation, posting, and community management
Experience running Brand Ambassador / Influencer programs and sourcing user‑generated content (UGC)
Experience with social media management & listening platforms (Dash, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Meltwater, Sprout, etc.)
Deep familiarity and understanding of social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, etc.).
Proficient in editing short‑form social content (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
A passion for supporting and elevating the skilled trades, with a deep appreciation for the people who build, fix, and keep our world running—and a commitment to authentically representing and advocating for this community through our brand voice and content.
Preferred
First‑hand experience with skilled trades and familiarity with trade language and culture will be incredibly helpful in this role.
Experience working in marketing within an omnichannel business (direct‑to‑consumer + B2B/wholesale/retail)
Experience in the Apparel or Outdoor industry with high‑growth, disruptive, or mission‑driven brands strongly preferred.
