Associate Digital Marketing Director – Web & Email

The Associate Digital Marketing Director – Web Email will be a key member of the Exelixis digital marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, this position will develop and execute strategically aligned non‑personal tactics across web and email channels, partner closely with media channel teammates, and ensure high‑quality, impactful digital customer experiences for our pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage promotional website and email tactics that increase awareness of CABOMETYX for its FDA‑approved indications and support the launch of zanzalinitinib.
Develop and execute brand digital assets on time and on budget in collaboration with promo marketing, legal, regulatory, BI, and technology/CSAO partners.
Translate marketing messaging and strategy into integrated, multi‑channel marketing tactics.
Manage agency partners to ensure high‑quality strategy, content, and execution.
Analyze web and email KPIs, conduct A/B testing, and recommend changes to web pages, emails, and subject lines to improve performance.
Partner with GI + GU Marketing, Sales, and Market Access to ensure consistent messaging and customer experience across all digital assets.
Develop A/B testing plans and content requirements for campaign optimization.
Seek opportunities to optimize, test, or advance new digital capabilities and share learnings across the organization.
Ensure successful alignment of digital programs to brand goals and regulatory compliance.
Lead the tactic submission for RAMP review and approval, coaching agencies on the process.
Manage the approval of digital marketing materials with Regulatory, Legal, and Medical partners.
Collaborate with data analytics teams and agencies on the marketing data warehouse and performance dashboards for reporting NPP data and KPIs across channels.
Provide expertise on digital trends and assess new opportunities for strategic fit.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 11 years of related experience, or Master's degree with 9 years of related experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable.
Experience in product marketing, field sales, or market research/analysis within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
Digital marketing experience targeting patient and healthcare professional audiences, including SEO/SEM/display, lead generation, web, mobile, social, CRM, non‑personal, and field promotion channels.
Preferred experience working in oncology product launches.
Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Strategist or Manager with pharmaceutical/biotech focus.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently.
Exceptional agency‑management skills and the ability to drive projects forward.
Experience working cross‑functionally with cross‑departmental teams.
Reporting and analytics experience across media and digital channels.
Hands‑on experience with online marketing tools and practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deliver clear presentations.
Understanding of FDA regulations for pharmaceutical drug promotions and experience with Legal, Medical, and Regulatory review processes.
Ability to travel for business (~25%).
Additional Information

Office located in an open‑plan space with dual monitors and ergonomic furniture. Business travel (~25%) is required.
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $181,500 – $257,000 annually, adjusted for geographic region and internal equity. Total Rewards include a 401k plan, group medical/dental/vision coverage, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, discretionary annual bonuses, and long‑term incentive programs.
