Multimedia Journalist-Seasonal

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a talented Multimedia Journalist based in Raleigh, NC. This individual must be a strategic and creative thinker, a self-starter, and a collaborator willing to learn and share ideas.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Reporting, shooting and editing video news stories.
Producing content for use in multiple outlets.
Writing and posting across various platforms, including updating website and mobile products.
Using social media, doing walk-and-talk live shots, and grabbing viewers with sights and sounds.
Gathering information, conducting interviews, shooting video, producing, reporting and editing assigned stories daily.
Posting video, pictures and stories to website, Facebook, radio and other social media outlets.
Maintaining strong familiarity with local, national, and international news and issues of the day.
Establishing and maintaining news contacts in the community.
Maintaining a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that works well with co-workers, supervisors and the community at large.
Other duties as deemed necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 1‑year newsroom experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Fluent in English and Spanish, with superior written and spoken Spanish language skills.
Ability to operate newsroom computer systems and applications (both hardware and software).
Knowledge of iNews required.
High ethical and journalistic standards required.
Functional to advanced knowledge in the use of field cameras, gear, and editing systems.
Ability to make sound decisions while working under extreme deadlines, and to follow directions and incorporate constructive feedback.
Adobe Premiere preferred.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
