What you'll be doing

As a Relationship Manager, you will focus on growing direct revenue, retaining high‑net‑worth client relationships, and expanding business within your portfolio. You will align with clients’ sophisticated financial needs, investment objectives, and the organization’s strategy, while actively growing your client base through networking, community involvement, and exceptional relationship management.
How you'll succeed

Manage client relationships – Oversee a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients to ensure strong retention and continued business growth, while aligning with investment objectives and firm policies.
Expand your portfolio – Acquire new clients with complex financial needs through strategic business development activities and close collaboration with Business Development Officers.
Drive profitability – Achieve revenue goals, manage expenses, and monitor overall profit performance, taking timely action when needed.
Deliver exceptional service – Foster a high‑touch service culture by leveraging your expertise in investment and wealth advisory services to deliver tailored client solutions.
Engage in client events – Participate in client events to deepen relationships and support new business development efforts.
Collaborate effectively – Partner across internal teams to provide a seamless, professional, and timely client experience.
Ensure compliance – Implement and maintain strong operational and compliance risk controls across all activities.
Who you are

Educational background – Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, CPA, or CFP preferred.
Wealth management expertise – 5+ years in portfolio management, wealth management, personal tax, or financial planning.
Investment knowledge – Strong understanding of investment products and strategies for sophisticated, high‑net‑worth clients.
Financial savvy – Skilled in financial analysis and able to offer expert advice on complex, high‑value relationships.
Relationship builder – Excellent at cultivating lasting client relationships and delivering tailored recommendations that inspire trust and action.
Communicator – Confident speaker able to present to small groups and large audiences; strong written skills for proposals and presentations.
Service‑oriented – Professional judgment and client‑focused mindset.
Risk aware – Solid understanding of operational, regulatory, and compliance‑related requirements.
Eligibility

You must be legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit. My employer may require completion of skill assessments or other tests.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range for Houston, TX: $175,000 – 225,000 based on experience, qualifications, and location.
Incentive compensation plan and discretionary bonus potential.
