Job Summary
This position administers daily planning, scheduling, reporting, and financial operations of the terminal.
Essential Functions
Define and delegate subordinate responsibilities, develop strategies to improve operational costs.
Negotiate bids with brokers and asset‑based carriers to meet company savings objectives.
Coordinate freight transfer activity from terminal to terminal.
Develop and maintain cost‑efficient methods of operation.
Ensure customer satisfaction, a facility free of safety hazards, and proper performance of operational processes.
Foster an environment of continuous improvement.
Communicate and enforce company policies, procedures, and rules to employees.
Provide advice, guidance, and assistance as needed.
Recommend and approve increases or decreases in staff; screen and select employees; approve long‑range departmental plans, work goals, objectives, and standards.
Assist and evaluate the performance of employees’ recommendations and approve expenditures, salary changes, promotions, transfers, changes in status, and disciplinary action.
Assign work, train, develop, and motivate employees.
Responsible for KPI metrics and P&L performance, helping drive revenue into the Station.
Control Station expenditures, manage Station employees, and administer personnel programs and procedures in accordance with approved policies.
Other duties as requested.
Skills / Competencies
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Knowledge of terminal operations.
Deep understanding of business law, local, state, and federal regulations.
High degree of computer software knowledge.
Education
A four‑year college degree preferred, but can be substituted with equivalent experience.
Experience
Five years of management experience required. This position requires responsibility for two locations: Baltimore and Harrisburg.

Pay Range
US$115‒$125k (anticipated starting salary range). Pay may be adjusted based on market conditions and individual qualifications.
