Our Lamar office in Muscle Shoals, Alabama is now hiring a Sales Account Executive (salary + commission) to bring innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for local brands. Responsibilities
Meet and exceed sales targets and monitor personal sales data and reports.
Target businesses in the assigned area and visit established Lamar clients as well as competitor’s clients within a specified time frame.
Exhibit knowledge of local and national competition and cluster accounts for efficient service.
Identify potential growth areas and open new accounts.
Use Lamar computer tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, and prepare proposals and research.
Develop and refine presentation skills, presenting to clients regularly.
Participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows.
Perform administrative duties: maintain daily/weekly/monthly sales plans, track production orders, solve client issues, keep organized records.
Work a minimum of two days a week in the office for meetings and events.
Qualifications
Comfortable making cold calls and in-person visits.
Ability to give oral presentations and clearly explain policies and procedures.
Effective communication with diverse populations, aligning with our inclusivity values.

Strong time‑management and self‑organization skills.
Willingness to immerse yourself in outdoor advertising and sell its benefits to businesses.

Current and valid driver’s license required.
College degree preferred.
Experience in outdoor advertising sales preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
CRM experience preferred.
