Role Overview
The Social Media Assistant will work in either the Content Creation or Influencer team within the Social Media group. The role supports day‑to‑day execution of Fashion Nova’s social channels across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, X, and emerging platforms. This entry‑level position is ideal for someone who is deeply online, trend‑aware, creatively driven, and eager to grow within a fast‑paced social team.
Responsibilities
Manage daily activity on Fashion Nova’s social media channels
Source, organize, schedule, and publish content to support daily posting needs
Collaborate with internal creative, marketing, influencer, and social teams to execute content and campaign rollouts
Assist with caption writing, product tagging, and maintaining accurate product details across posts
Monitor trends, viral formats, sounds, and platform updates, and proactively share relevant opportunities with the team
Coordinate scheduling updates and content management through tools like Canva, Dash Hudson, and Later
Support social campaign execution, including collaboration posts, video premieres, and launch moments
Upload and organize influencer‑generated content assets for paid media and cross‑functional teams
Track social performance and identify content trends, engagement patterns, and optimization opportunities
Maintain organization in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all social channels
Contribute creative ideas for content, community engagement, and social‑first storytelling
Role Requirements
3+ years of experience in social media, content, community management, or a related digital marketing role
Deep interest in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and internet culture with an understanding of what performs across social platforms
Strong written communication skills, able to create social‑first captions and adapt tone across platforms
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Creative mind with an eye for trends, aesthetics, and culturally relevant content
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, X, and emerging platforms
Comfortable working within scheduling and social management tools such as Dash Hudson, Later, Canva, or similar platforms
Strong understanding of social media trends, viral formats, sounds, memes, and platform best practices
Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within a high‑volume social team
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
English proficiency; additional languages an advantage
