Role Overview

Senior Institutional Relationship Manager – Pensions/Endowments & Foundations/Taft-Hartley, Central region • Chicago, IL
Responsibilities

Acquire new institutional clients and drive additional revenue opportunities from existing client base focusing on pensions, endowments and foundations.
Maintain and nurture relationships with institutional asset owners and their consultants/advisors.
Lead business development initiatives, manage a portfolio of clients, and build long‑term relationships with senior decision makers.
Provide market insight and investment product knowledge to meet client demands and help shape investment strategies.
Collect market data, prepare proposals and presentations, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Travel regionally as required.
Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years experience in a client coverage role within a large asset manager, consultant or intermediary in the asset‑management sector.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the financial sector.
Proven track record of securing new business and maintaining client relationships within the Central US institutional client base.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with capacity to convey complex concepts to senior executives.
Self‑motivated, organized, and able to operate independently while working collaboratively within a team.
Current knowledge of investment products, client demands and industry regulations.
Ability to travel regionally and maintain flexibility in schedule.
Professional certifications such as CFA and/or MBA desirable.
Licenses

Series7 and Series63 required.
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $146,000 – $255,000 in Chicago. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, and other qualifications. Incentive and variable compensation may be offered. Benefits include health, welfare and retirement plans customized to individual needs.
