Marketing Manager, Retirement and Annuity Marketing

Responsibilities

Support and execute campaigns aimed at advisor enablement and consumer education, collaborating with distribution and product teams to ensure messaging resonates with external audiences.
Develop, maintain, track and update collateral, presentations, thought leadership and digital assets for use by advisors.
Execute projects, track KPIs and enhancements across owned and third‑party channels.
Work closely with Product Development, Distribution, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Wholesalers and external vendors to deliver integrated marketing solutions.
Manage content inventory for usage and expirations, making recommendations on material suite.
Monitor competitive trends, gather insights from third‑party partners, and recommend enhancements to annuity offerings and marketing approach.
Success Measures

Tracking KPIs related to product launches, sales campaigns and materials.
Consumer‑focused, data‑driven approach to marketing.
Ensuring materials are updated prior to expiration.
Collaboration with stakeholders across Guardian.
Qualifications and Skills

3‑5 years of annuity marketing experience.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailored for internal and external audiences.
Highly collaborative, cross‑functional approach; experience working with sales, product and compliance teams.
Knowledge of marketing in regulated industries, especially annuities.
Flexible, solution‑oriented and responsive to changing market and partner needs.
Sense of urgency and solution orientation with a positive attitude.
Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree or certifications in marketing, finance or related field preferred).
Location and Compensation

Hybrid role: 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote. Base pay $82,770.00 – $135,975.00, dependent on education, experience and skills. Potential for incentive compensation.
